Cacis the "Forn de la Calç" of Calders directed opens an international call to artists to stay in your residence and conduct a research project during 2012.

1. Cacis the forn of the summit hosts visual arts projects, arts, performance, thinking, intervention on the landscape and searching for new language related to sustainability and protecting the environment. (Not only artistic) CACIS's residence has the basic conditions for research and study in nature, for the artist to find the conditions of space, and equipment suitable concentration. The space is located 5 km from the town of Calders and 2.5 km of Arts. The city of Manresa is about 25 minutes and enjoy spectacular views of Montserrat and the Pyrenees.

2. The residences include accommodation of artists (maximum 4) and work space for a minimum of 7 days and a maximum of 90 days. Not include the travel or subsistence.

3. The Center can help artists to make the necessary contacts with local people and suppliers of materials and services related to their research and promote the relationship with the social environment in the preparation of workshops and seminars related to the proposed projects.

4. Artists who wish to use this call should email the following documents: - Contact details of the project manager - Number of participants - Timetable for applying for residence is another alternative. - Space required (accommodation / work room / outdoors). - A letter of intent with an explicit text in which the artist is committed, if elected, to make the residence within the time requested. - Letter or letters of recommendation from other schools or workplaces. - A project description (maximum 3 pages with up to 3 photos, JPG) - A brief CV (maximum 1 page)

5. Applications for 2012 can be submitted until November 30, 2011 ..

6. The jury is composed by professionals and the team of the Center.

7. Resolution of the call December 30, 2011. The result of the call will be communicated by email to stakeholders and will be published on the website and blog CACIS.

8. Taking part on the acceptance of these rules.

9. The management of the Centre reserves the right to cancel the residence of the participants admitted initially: • If there is a substantial modification of the initial project was the subject of selection. • If you detect falsity of the information provided by the applicant or applicants to be selected.
